Janet began her career in tax in the early 1980s with HMRC in Central London but soon defected to the 'other side' by joining the personal tax department of KPMG.  After the birth of her son in 1984, she was in partnership in a firm in Chelsea, after which she joined a medium- sized firm in Fulham.

In 1994, Janet came to work for Mike Sampson and Len West and the rest, as they say, is history.

Janet specialises in media, film and TV - the creative industries.

Strange though it might seem, she gets a great deal of pleasure from helping people with their personal tax!  It gives her satisfaction to help clients who, although often extremely successful in their own sphere, find the whole idea of tax, VAT and accountancy frightening and daunting. 

On the other side, she fully appreciates the responsibility that goes with the position of trust given by clients and the need for absolute confidentiality in dealing with their affairs.
