Nick Hickling qualified as a chartered accountant in 1990 with Lubbock
Fine. After working for AW Mudd & Co, he became Financial Controller with
Demon Internet Limited, helping to oversee customer growth from 10,000
to over a quarter of a million. The company was subsequently sold in 1998 to
Scottish Telecommunications plc. Nick then worked at Redbus Investments,
dealing with a wide range of commercial and related intellectual property
projects. These included taking one company to the full stock market and
acting as a non-executive director of several other companies. Nick joined
Sampson West & Christo in October 2007.

Among Nick's interests are music; he regularly plays the organ for two
churches in Essex.
